fix: cdn default file

This single commit includes many unrelated changes
which I can't be bothered to separate now.
AI suggested a bunch of improvements, such as more
consistent error handling, new flags (--dry-run, --verbose, --quiet)
and automatically refactored code when it encountered lint warnings.
