[Linux] Glitchy videos

While on the main branch (currently ad8a275) I get a lot of blocky artifacts when the game is playing videos.
however there is no issue on 1.1.0, and when checking into commit ef27a64. I'm pretty sure #117 caused this issue on linux.

Potentially a known issue. Apply PR #188 and report back.

Only say potentially because that corruption is far worse than I was getting on my linux install
