Control loop during combat

While in combat, when I end click the button to end my turn I run into a loop where it continues to press that button on my next turn. What happens is I press it and then the enemies go and while they take their turn I am unable to move the cursor or screen and once they end their turn, before I can move the cursor it clicks while resting on the turn button and ends my turn immediately. I’ve been pummeled to death multiple times now without being able to do anything about it 💀
