WTH is up with Alexa Media Player not updating ALL attributes from Alexa devices to HA?

I was playing around with my volume save/restore triggers and automations and have noticed that the volume_level and is_muted attributes update in real time but other attibutes like media_position_updated, last_called, last_called_timestamp and last_called_summary do not until the integration gets around to polling the cloud or you execute alexa_media.update_last_called. The fact that volume_level and is_muted update real time is promising but why oh why do the others not...
