๐Ÿ‘‹ Hi there, I'm Akshat

๐Ÿš€ Aspiring Software Engineer | Python Developer | DevOps Enthusiast | Open Source Contributor ๐Ÿ“ Varanasi, India

๐ŸŒฑ About Me

Iโ€™m a self-driven developer and DevOps enthusiast, currently preparing for my engineering entrance exams while building hands-on, real-world projects.

My current mission is to explore the full DevOps pipeline โ€” from backend APIs to container orchestration โ€” and learn through practical implementation rather than theory dumps.

I believe in โ€œlearning by building, failing fast, and documenting everything.โ€

๐Ÿงฉ What Iโ€™m Currently Working On

Fedora DevOps Lab

A self-hosted full-stack lab project where Iโ€™m building, containerizing, and deploying a FastAPI backend with a React (Vite) frontend on a Fedora environment. The goal: Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and complete local automation from scratch.

๐Ÿง  Focus Areas:

  • Building reproducible full-stack environments using Docker and Compose
  • CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions (coming soon)
  • Optimizing lightweight workflows for development on limited hardware

๐Ÿ’ป My Core Tech Stack

I'm comfortable working across the full stack, from modern decoupled apps to classic monolithic systems.

Modern DevOps & Full-Stack (Current Focus):

  • Frontend: React, Vite, TypeScript
  • Backend: Python (FastAPI), SQLAlchemy
  • DevOps: Docker, Git, Linux (Fedora)
  • Database: PostgreSQL (with Alembic for migrations)

Classic Full-Stack & Foundational:

  • Backend: Python (Flask/FastAPI), Jinja2 (Templating)
  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (DOM & API Fetching)
  • Database: SQLAlchemy, SQLite

๐Ÿš€ My Project Portfolio

Before tackling my main lab, I built a solid foundation of full-stack, data-driven applications.

  • Full-Stack Monoliths: A portfolio of apps (LIfeLogger, SkillShare, FinanceApp, Todoapp) built using the classic Python stack (FastAPI/Flask, SQLAlchemy, Jinja2 templates) to master CRUD operations and database management.
  • Client-Side App: A weatherapp built with vanilla JavaScript to practice external API consumption and DOM manipulation.

๐ŸŽจ Beyond the Code

When Iโ€™m not debugging YAML files or fighting dependency errors, I unwind through: ๐ŸŽธ Playing the guitar ๐ŸŽจ Creating art ๐Ÿ“š Reading fiction (and the occasional manga arc binge)

๐ŸŒ Letโ€™s Connect

  • ๐Ÿงญ GitHub: Youโ€™re already here โ€” explore my projects, drop a star, or open an issue.

๐Ÿง  Philosophy

โ€œConsistency beats talent when talent doesnโ€™t stay consistent.โ€

Every commit, every container, every line โ€” part of my journey to become the engineer I wish I had to learn from.
