Wyse is not the old SmartCam owner. They require their servers and charge at the lowest level about $10USD/mo for 3 SmartCams. I have had mine for a while and just want to use it to get live streams when I want, and possibly have access to motion caused snippits from the SD card.

I know your software just provides a 'motion detector', of which is great. But It would be so much more functional if we could use it as a local cam (without being tied to a cloud service, and their associated fees!) would be great!

You can stream from the camera directly (from within the LAN). You need the IP of the camera and password:

rtsp://admin:PASSWORD@192.168.1.XXX/onvif/profile1/media.smp
