Is a description slot inside a Select supposed to create an element inside the <template> on Chromium browsers? #9377

Yes the template is expected, and looks like maybe each browser handles it differently? For instance, I can only see the child of template at https://react-aria.adobe.com/Select#forms if I'm in Safari. Looks like there is some chatter over in Playwright about not querying hidden things. microsoft/playwright#35294 |

Hi,
I'm trying to target a
<Text slot="description"...that's inside an RACSelectcomponent but (Vitest Browser Mode) is saying it's finding two elements with the same test id. Upon inspection, I've found that Chromium browsers (doesn't affect Firefox) are putting this slot inside the<template>element. Is this normal or a bug?If this is expected behaviour, does anyone know the best way to write Vitest Browser Mode (Playwright) locators so they ignore these hidden
<template>elements?Thanks,
Will.
