Description

Brackets crashes on opening amt3.log file present in temp folder.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open temp folder. (Go to run > Type %temp% > Press Enter)
2. Search for amt3.log file.
3. Right click on file -> Open with Brackets.
4. Brackets crashes.

Actual behavior : Brackets crashes on opening amt3.log file present in temp folder

Expected behavior : Brackets should not crash

Workaround : Copy file at desktop and then open. File opens in Brackets without crash.

This seems to occur if a file is currently used by another program. For example, the same happens when trying to open an Apache virtual host log file, while Apache server is running. The log file can even be empty for the crash to happen.

Running Brackets with elevated rights does not help opening a log file of a running virtual host.

yeh, I'm getting this error trying to use Brackets to open an apache error log.

Win 7 enterprise sp1 64-bit, Brackets 1.12

I just had this issue working with Apache as well. Any chance of a fix?
