Description

CTRL+C or CTRL+X doesn't work during selection

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select code with the mouse
  2. Keep left mouse button pressed
  3. Press CTRL+C (while 2.)
  4. Release mouse button
  5. Try to paste. Nothing. Doesn't work. It will actually paste the last correctly-registered copy / cut.

Version info:

Release 1.8 build 1.8.0-17108 (alf_localization_release_1.8 3af64fa)
Windows 10 64bit with the latest updates

Hi @armandbancila,

couldn't repro the issue myself, works correctly for me on macOS. I can recheck against a Windows PC later today, but meanwhile you could check if it's an extension issue (Debug -> Launch Without Extensions) or if there are any errors in the dev tools (Debug -> Show Developer Tools -> Console).

Confirm. But weird situation. Usually you release mouse button before copy.

True but that's the problem, I don't have a mouse, I'm on a laptop. So usually you have to keep your finger on the touchpad so that the selection is perfect and you don't accidentally select more than what you wanted to copy.

Could replicate on Windows 10 but not on Mac OS, marking Win only for now
