When the invoked shell script takes a long time to complete, we don't have any log output from the invoked shell script, until the command exits.

This is a problem for us because our invoked scripts may take up to 15 minutes to complete, and it would be useful to be able to watch what's happening from the log files.

I'll submit a pull request that tries to fix that situation.
