This Wiki contains supplementary documentation for the GitHub repository accetto/ubuntu-vnc-xfce. The repository contains resources for building Docker images based on Ubuntu, with Xfce desktops and headless VNC/noVNC environments.
The images can be also successfully built and used on NAS devices. They have been tested with Container Station from QNAP.
The pre-built and regularly maintained images are contained in the Docker repository.
For the basic description check the project's README and CHANGELOG files.
If you have a problem or a question, please check the repository Issues and the Troubleshooting, FAQ and HOWTO pages first. Please do not overlook the closed issues.
If you do not find a solution, you can file a new issue. The better you describe the problem, the bigger the chance it'll be solved soon.
Remark: The resources for building images with Firefox browser have been moved to separate GitHub repositories accetto/ubuntu-vnc-xfce-firefox and accetto/ubuntu-vnc-xfce-firefox-plus. Each repository has also its own Wiki.
