Create glossary/standard reference for terms/names used in or to describe products/services

Working on the PURLdb RTD, I noticed a variety of ways we refer to the names of services, functions and other concepts in our documentation. See my purldb comment for examples:

It would be useful to create and maintain a glossary of relevant terms and names we can use as a reference.
