Study the possibility of deep inspection of individuals J2C frames embedded in the MXF container. This might include :

  • Decoding frame without error
  • Structure and compliance of the J2C codestreams with appropriate norm
  • Bitrate graph generation (don't need deep inspection for that though)

This only apply to non-encrypted DCPs or ones where a KDM is available and should be made optional due to the execution time overhead.

Main issue is to find a non commercial jp2k decoder that would be compliant with cinema standard and fast enough.
