I'm getting this error

 pip install Jupyter-Canvas-Widget
Collecting Jupyter-Canvas-Widget
  ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement Jupyter-Canvas-Widget (from versions: none)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for Jupyter-Canvas-Widget

I am also getting the same error. Have you figured it out?

I just installed it using this repository instead of using pip

Did you got sth like this:

Enabling notebook extension jupyter-canvas/extension... - Validating: problems found: - require? X jupyter-canvas/extension
when trying to enable it after the installation from source?
