##Tasks
Following tasks are expected by applicant:
- Level 0 : HTML
- Create a HTML page using HTML ONLY. Contents of the file can be found in
index.html
. - The file must comprise only of HTML. No JavaScript or CSS(including inline
style
attribute) to be used. - It must only contain HTML tags and attributes. Preference will be given to better looks and layout.
- You also need to export a pdf of the said file and link it to the pdf.
- The html content also has typos, so make sure you correct them as well. Attention has to be paid to design as well as content.
- Level 1 : CSS
Create classes for Grid layout. Grid contains Row row
and Column col
. Each column has 12 cells. The element with class cx
will occupy x cells in the row [for eg. c6 will occupy 6 cells i.e. half the row].
The styling must be done in style.css
and the effects that will be seen in index.html
should be as follows:
Note that you only need to code in css, and html should be kept as it is.
- Level 2 : SEO
Download the WOR website code from here and extract to Level2 folder. Read about SEO from internet. Mozilla is good place to start.
Now your task is to optimize the Website headers of the above code so that they rank better in search engines.
Here is how you can send your application to this repository!
Step 1: Fork this repository to your GitHub account! Step 2: Type the following commands in your terminal
git clone https://github.com/user_name/WOR-Recruitment/
cd WOR-Recruitment
Step 3: Create a branch with your name in this format. For example:
git checkout -b salman
P.S. Put your name in place of Salman.
Step 4: Create a folder by your name in the repository. Folder name also has to be your name.
Step 5: Solve the assignments inside your folder only.
Step 6: After solving the assignments, execute the following command in your terminal.
git add .
git commit -m "<your_name> assignment solved"
git push origin master
Step 7: Go to your copy of the forked repository on GitHub and send a Pull Request to the Base Repository!
Step 8: You are all done. You can now wait for your result!
