Variables not showing up when debugging Rust code using gdb 7.12.1 on macOS

can you add "showDevDebugOutput": true in your launch config and send a screenshot when breaking again? Preferably add another screenshot where you also added "printCalls": true

Or if possible directly paste the debug console output instead of screenshots.

Worth noting is that hovering the cursor over x shows a nice tooltip with the value 42 as expected.

ok the problem is that when calling -stack-list-variables GDB sent an error "Thread id: 1 has terminated" instead of the variables. I could put out a temporary fix removing the --thread 1 specification or actually start implementing what I wanted to do a long time ago: #36

I guess I will start adding multi threaded debugging instead of making a hacky temporary fix. It might take a bit longer though. If you want to only fix it for yourself locally, uninstall code-debug from the marketplace, clone code-debug from here into ~/.vscode/extensions/, remove the --thread " + thread + " in https://github.com/WebFreak001/code-debug/blob/master/src/backend/mi2/mi2.ts#L602 and click the play button in the debug window in vscode to make sure its compiled and works
