Game will not launch on Ubuntu, gives error VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST

Opened CS 2, it launched to the VALVE logo then gave the error VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST before closing. Legacy CSGO still works.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Open Counter-Strike 2
2. Gets to VALVE logo then errors out with VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST
3. Game closes
