System Information

  • GPU: RX 6700 XT

Symptoms

  • This game crashes on launch with Proton Experimental (2024/07/31) and 9.0-2. I've tried with DXVK and WineD3D, but got the same problem.
  • For Proton 8.0-5 it works with DXVK and WineD3D.

Reproduction

I can also confirm the same behavior on my oled deck with proton Experimental too.

Game is deck verified using proton 9.0-2 despite this issue though for some reason

@ranplayer @waspennator I can reproduce this, and I can see this broke sometime between 8.0-5 and 9.0-1. We are looking into it.

Game is deck verified using proton 9.0-2 despite this issue though for some reason

The game was Verified with whatever Proton Stable was at the time, which it appears to be Proton 7.0-4b. Since it was verified with a stable build, it stays on whatever is currently the Proton Stable, which is now Proton 9.0-2. Ideally we don't have regressions hit in Stable and users can get the benefits of a newer version but these regressions do slip through. These reports are helpful for if they work on an older version, as we can set them then to a Proton version that does work in the meantime that is available, like 8.0-5.

Thank you both for the report :)
