Work on multi selection

I selected multi items, then want to edit them at the same time. However, when selecting, it's in visual mode and if I want to do anything (delete for example), it go to insert mode with only one current cursor. Please fix this, so that we can work on multiple cursor at the same time (like vintage mode on Sublime).
