status of UTF-8 support

Hi, just wanted to ask, if there is already UTF-8 supprt in VBA-Web.
After Roadmap in here UTF-8 support is planned.

I'm getting weird chars in an response string (utf-8 encoded), just wanted to make sure, that there is no fault with the usage on my site

Hi @SLiX69 UTF-8 is not currently supported by VBA-Web, so any char issues you're experiencing are most likely due to that (and not your usage).

UTF-8 support is planned and is definitely important, but there have been many issues with implementing it for Mac. I've recently started planning for Windows-only features that could be ported to Mac at a later date (see Feature Flag RFC) that should allow for a lot more progress in this area instead of waiting until a Mac-supported solution is discovered.
