I cannot control VMware workstation using the windows release, 1.4.6.
The version of VMware workstation is 17.5.2 build-23775571. I have it open and a VM running. If the window is open, I cannot control it, if I click on the player's icon, control of the host machine stops as well. Windows 10 22h2 build 19045. I have tried other things, such as system settings and the notification area - which are usually also protected areas, and have had no issue.
The project needs more information in it's releases. although one can run it form the command line with the switch -version, the program seems geared for use by double clicking, at least just for use with out TLS. I think it should either print out the version each time or at least list it in the details tab of it's file properties. Likewise the release doesn't point back to it's source. If one finds it or was given a copy they will have to search to make their way back here. There should be a URL given to the project's home.
