I am pretty sure you can in the advanced settings window

Go to Edit -> Change Username.

You can only change your username to usernames that have a Scratch account.

Any discussion of bypassing username restrictions is not tolerated on this discussion forum. Move it elsewhere. That's also an extremely convoluted way of going about bypassing the restriction.
