Option to check if user is in the steam group before signing up

I would like it to allow so players would be suggested to join the steam group or even forcing users to join the steam group before they would join. It may be a bit annoying but helpful to populate steam groups for announcements.

Awesome, I hope to see this! If you do it, please make it work with both when registering and when logging in. On my forums, I've just replaced the registration/login button with a sign into steam image that sends you to the sign in page for steam, instead after logging in the user should be prompted with 'You have not joined the [STEAMGROUPNAME] steam group yet, do you wish to join?' or 'You must join the [STEAMGROUPNAME] steam group in order to use this forum, do you wish to join?'.
