The orderings AV shows a nice finished product and the AV traces it out, but the construction of the orderings (hidden away in the sort black box function call in the AV) is where the interesting things take place.

Would such sorting visualizations be useful as part of this AV or in a new sorting-focused AV, as first mentioned long ago in #44?

Regardless of the above, it would be nice to see more here about the non-trivial orderings. One possibility is to have the quadtree shown as an overlay and shade (non-empty?) leaf quadrants by their ordering (Morton, Hilbert, etc.).
