Problem Description

A reopen of #2049

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open an alert
  2. Try to merge it using the "Merge Into Case" button
  3. Search for a case using bits and pieces of existing case titles

Possible Solutions

The Merge Into Case search by Title seems to only works if :

  1. The full exact title of a previous case is written (inpractical), or
  2. Lowercase strings are used between * and *. For example, by typing *malicious* to search for a case with the title Malicious ransomware alerts
