I regularly switch between pump and dance both of which I have a set theme, separate controller, etc.

Describe the solution you'd like

Sadly another "profile" primitive, like a "game/mode profile"
Similar to the current profile but for broader configuration in settings like game/theme/controller/timings/etc.

I don't believe the current profile implementation is the place for this configuration but looking at other issues like #617 there is a creep in that direction with theme settings.

The game mode seems to be the root of the changes (at least in my case). I'm curious if anyone else has a usecase for making deeper/advanced option changes outside of switching between game modes.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Less of a consideration and more of a hacky solution.
I currently use a script to swap out my user configuration files before loading the game with separate shortcuts.

Found #255 which kind of seems like a similar need but to some degree could timings be tied to input device?
