What is/are your question(s)?

NewPipe 0.25.0.
Android 12.1.

I've installed self-hosted PeerTube server in my local server: 192.168.1.XX:443. With this server I use Nginx proxy with self-signed certificate. I've installed this self-signed certificate in my Android 12.1 gadget.

I can access to my Peertube server through Android browser: 'https://192.168.1.XX/`. All works good and browser doesn't ask for certificate confirmation.

But if I try to connect to my Peertube server from NewPipe: Settings -> Content -> PeerTube instances -> + -> https://192.168.1.XX/ -> OK I get error: Could not validate instance.

Is it possible to use NewPipe with a self-signed certificate?

In settings of Android app Thorium I've Disable SSL Certificate Check and in Thorium all works.
But NewPipe more convenient.

It would be nice if in NewPipe could also disable certificate verification in the settings for PeerTube servers. Or you could add your self-signed certificate to the NewPipe application, as implemented in the Tremotesf Android application (for example).

v0.25.2. I still need this. The "only HTTPs urls is supported" error under PeerTube is blocking our internal network servers. Is there any plans on adding this?
