What feature do you want?

My phone does this crap thing where the left audio channel is forced through the earpiece speaker which is barely audible. When watching certain gaming videos which feature proximity chat, it's really difficult to hear some voices.

My solution up to this point has been to enable mono audio in accessibility settings, but this is system-wide and I invariably forget to turn this off.

It would be nice if NewPipe had the option to force mono audio when watching videos (not for background player)

You can try to use an external player which supports that as a workaround for now.
