Describe the feature you want

Pausing or resuming a video is a frequent action. Often, the video interface is required. Often, no. In my opinion, this is how my suggested touch action setting should work.

1. Upper interface: Show/Hide interface
   It makes perfect sense to avoid pausing videos here as it involves minimizing the player and changing speed or resolution.

2. Middle menu: Pause/Resume

In most cases, we need to do multitasking, take screenshot or simply just staring at the video. Note that double tap gesture might be buggy in this case. So, first tap will show "Pause" arc, second tap will show "10s forward/backward" arc etc.

3. Bottom interface: Pause+Show interface/Resume+Hide interface

In an issue, pause, previous and next buttons were suggested to be kept under seek bar. So, this should involve both pausing the video and showing interface.

Although this doesn't exactly fix this issue, you can double-tap in the middle of the player to pause/resume the video without having to wait for the pause/resume button to be shown.
