Video freezes/ blacks out when switching orientation to fullscreen or back to normal player

Steps to reproduce the bug

Switch to full screen or back to normal while the video is playing

Expected behavior

Video should continue to play seamlessly - without freezing or blacking out

Actual behavior

Video freezes/ blacks out. Please note - playback doesn't crash and audio continues to play seamlessly, it's just that the video freezes. If you see the timestamp in the seekbar it continues playing even while the video has frozen

Upon switching to full screen the video blacks out at 00:21 till 00:24 and upon switching back to normal at 00:34 to 00:36 and freezes in full screen from 00:25 to 00:28. Audio continues to play normally throughout

There are no logs as it doesn't crash

Additional information

I understand that it freezes/ blacks out for just a few seconds but depending on what the video is you miss out on key details and I've to always rewind each time I switch orientation which can be frustrating as it lowers the user experience

This is how the feature works. The lag is device-dependent. The older/slower your device, the longer the screen blacks out. You will barely notice it on a newer flagship.
