テストがないと大きく変えた時に今まで通りの挙動があってるのか全くわからないので厳しぃ

ベンチマークの開発してて、そこで正常な処理ができなかったらエラーを出力するようにしましょう。

いや、その指針はだめですね。普通のWebアプリケーションのようにmockテストを書くべきでしょう

irisの公式ページに、テストのサンプルがあったのでそれをパクって書いていくのが良さそうな気がします
