Mac Software Recommendations

General/System

Easy Move+Resize -> XFCE-like window resize and move (click and draw (anywhere on the window))
Finicky -> Choose a browser based on an URL naming pattern (regex)
Maccy -> Clipboard history (free if installed via brew)
Linear Mouse -> Configure (each) mouse (individually) => best thing: when using a normal mouse you can disable the the mouse acceleration while scrolling (a big relief 🙌)
UTM -> FOSS virtualisation SW based on Qemu (so far VirtualBox does not work with the M1 processor; even with the beta version for the Apple silicon)
- To access a shared folder either:
  - Click in Thunar on Browse Network then Spice client folder => a new entry in Network should appear (for some reason this does not work always)
  - In Thunar enter as address: dav://localhost:9843
qView brew install qview -> image viewer
- Very lightweight and fast
- More than enough options
- FOSS
Caffeine: brew install --cask domzilla-caffeine
- Keep screen on
