Describe the bug
The count shows '0 folders and 0 files' despite visible files and folders, indicating a mismatch.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open the file manager app.
  2. Navigate to a directory with visible folders.
  3. Click one of the SMB connection entries.

Expected behavior
The folder and file count should reflect the actual number of visible directories and files.

Screen Recording

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: [Google Pixel 5]
  • OS: [Android 14]
  • Rooted: [No]
  • Version: [3.10]

Additional context

  1. After the loading spinner disappears, clicking the ‘CANCEL’ button on the ‘SMB Connection’ dialog still results in the count displaying ‘0 folders and 0 files’, even though files and folders are visible.
  2. The correct count appears only after performing a pull-to-refresh.
