TagStudio Version

Operating System & Version

Windows 10 22H2

Description

After creating a new library and closing it again, I can't delete the root directory of the library even after closing it in TagStudio. I am able to delete the library after closing TS completely or if TagStudio has been restarted since creating the library. Waiting doesn't seem to fix the issue, only closing TS.

I suspect it has something to do with the thumbnail generation as the issue reappears on a library if I delete anything in the thumbs directory (or the dir itself).
I have also failed to reproduce it with just text files, images or nothing in the library, a library with PDFs did produce the bug.

Expected Behavior

Closing a library in TS should not prevent me from deleting it, no matter the files in the library.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new directory
  2. add some files that trigger the bug (PDFs worked for me, MD and JPG did not)
  3. Start TS
  4. Open the directory as a new library
  5. Close the library, but leave TS open
  6. try to delete the directory
