In EXT:mask it is possible to edit and rebuild content elements. Should this be also possible for the Content Blocks Kickstarter? Which data storage method should be chosen if this functionality should be integrated?

On hold. This is planned for the upcoming sysext. Eventually it will be backported, if necessary.
