Hi @Stephan-P, Thanks a lot for your interest in Sync-in and for offering to contribute 🙂 You’re right to notice the differences between Because of that, other translation files contain the full set of translations. I’ve also just updated the i18n section of the contribution guide to describe all the steps. You can find it here: https://github.com/Sync-in/server?tab=contributing-ov-file#i18n-translations https://github.com/Sync-in/desktop?tab=contributing-ov-file#i18n-translations We haven’t looked into the platforms you mentioned yet. On the server side, we would first need to consolidate the backend and frontend translations. After that, we would need to take some time to research and possibly get our project set up on these platforms. We’re currently busy with other priorities, but we’ll get to it eventually 🙂 Thanks again for taking the time to help. |

Please find attached the nl.json for the desktop. The file has been validated using https://formatjsononline.com. Edit: ref to uploaded file removed I'll open a separate issue in the server branch when I've got that nl.json ready. |

Hi,
I'd like to put some effort in making a Dutch translation for Sync-in Desktop and Sync-in Server.
I've checked the existing translations for other languages, e.g. German and I reckon that it'll be a minor task.
However, while browsing the files in the respective i18n directories I noticed significant differences inside the de.json and the en.json, which made me apprehensive of using either of these as a starting point for a nl.json. (Otherwise I'm pretty sure I would have uploaded my two files here this afternoon. '-)
If you could point me to the proper source files from from which I can create the two nl.json files than I am happy to dig in.
As an aside: Would you be considering moving the translation work off to online collaborative translation platforms such as Crowdin, Transifex or Weblate?
Kind regards,
Stephan (an avid Dutch translator of all sorts of (free) software)
