What's up guys!
The topics of this repository are board game and object-oriented design.
In this repository, there exist TWO projects, namely "Only TicTacToe" and "TicTacToe & OAC". The first project is a single board game called TicTacToe which was implemented in an Object-oriented design pattern, while the second one is a more advanced version.
The second project serves as the final version of this project. It contains two OO style board games, namely TicTacToe and Order And Chaos. As you explore this project, you will find that all common parts of these two board games have been abstracted and modularized, which makes the entire project of high scalability and extendability. One can easily implement a new board game based on this project by just following the same pattern as how I embedded the Order And Chaos game to the original TicTacToe game (see the first project).
My comprehension of the philosophy of OO has improved incredibly through these two projects. In the first project, all you need to worry about is how to develop a single board game and make it OO, which is clearly not enough for this project to be truly OO. Nonetheless, in the second project, when you were asked to scale your original project to accommodate another similar-type board game, that's where you truly became an OO believer.
There is a super detailed ReadMe file in each of the project folder, so here I will just post the UML diagrams for the two projects.
If you find this project helpful, please consider giving it a STAR ^, which will be the biggest encouragement to me!
