By utilizing Earth Observation and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite dataβincluding NDVI, soil moisture parameters, and historical climate patternsβTerraFin generates highly accurate alternative credit scores for farmers lacking traditional financial footprints. This enables them to access micro-loans, parametric micro-insurance, and a blockchain-verified carbon credit marketplace, where funds are disbursed directly via satellite micropayments without the need for cellular internet infrastructure.
