I built an wixel-xDrip a few weeks ago and it has been working with no problems. Yesterday all of a sudden it seems like the bluetooth module stopped working. I have an HM-10 hooked up to it. Is there anyway to troubleshoot the BLE device (bootup, errors, etc.) before I just scrap it and buy another one?

got the same issue today. To me it seems that when the battery goes too low, the wixel loses its memory and it has to be reprogrammed via USB port. Is it confirmed that we never have to let it fully discharge?

Mine never stops like that, I have had issues where my hm10 goes into a strange mode and thinks its always transmitting (but it isnt) and other cases where the wixel gets hung up in a sleep state. usually disconnecting and reconnecting the battery gets things back up and running for me, I havnt had this issue in a very very long time though, I think I resolved all the sleep state issues

Hi Stephen, and thumbs up for the great work you are doing with xdrip :)
Yesterday I spent some time to debug my issue on my HM11, I found out that I was using a quite old version of the app on Android (2.0.1) so I have updated to the latest 2.0.5 upd1 and also I have updated the bridge2.wxl to the latest version. I have noticed that after the updates it was more stable and it worked all day with no issues.
Then before going to sleep I have turned off my smartphone and left the wixel at its own destiny, in another room... this morning I restarted the smartphone but there is no way to wake up the wixel! It seems that it went in a sleep state because it was unable to find either my dexcom transmitter and the smartphone.
the question is really simple: how can I wake up the wixel? Now it's charging, red light is on but no yellow light blinking... should I really open the box, disconnect and reconnect the battery every morning?
Any advice is more than appreciated... again, thanks a lot for your great committment to the cause!
Gab (from Italy).

Do you recall when you pulled the code that you flashed onto the wixel?
