HELP: Broken SX Lite - want to recover with Spacecraft

Hi!
I have a broken SX Lite which I want to recover with Spacecraft.

The chip has been flashed the normal way with Spacecraft, but still doesn't work. Boots straight into original Firmware.
A HWFly using the same unchanged soldered flex cables works straight.
Is a GD Link OB always necessary or will a RPI Zero W also work for flashing the bootloader and firmware?
If a RPI works here too. How to flash them separately?

Is there anything else I can do?

I know off topic, but a need proper help please!
