ADS-B with dump1090 - installation recipe

Using a USB RTL-SDR dongle with external antenna.
After fresh installation of Linux (tested on raspbian) ...

BASICS

sudo apt install git-core
sudo apt install git
sudo apt install cmake
sudo apt install libusb-1.0-0-dev

sudo apt install git

RTL-SDR

git clone https://git.osmocom.org/rtl-sdr.git
cd rtl-sdr
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ../ -DINSTALL_UDEV_RULES=ON
make
sudo make install
sudo ldconfig
cd ~
sudo cp ./rtl-sdr/rtl-sdr.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/
cd /etc/modprobe.d
sudo nano no-rtl.conf

add following lines

blacklist dvb_usb_rtl28xxu
blacklist rtl2832
blacklist rtl2830

sudo reboot
(after logging in)
rtl_test
result is

Info: This tool will continuously read from the device, and report if
