Hello, sir!
I am validating the pulsatile velocity boundary condition at the inlet of the pipe with the RCR boundary condition at the outlet. The reference paper (section 5.1.2) is attached here. I am taking Prestress tutorial as a reference.
pipe length - 5 cm, inner radius - 0.5 cm, thickness - 0.1 cm
Material properties fluid density : 1.06 gm/cm3
fluid viscosity: 0.0345 poise (Newtonian fluid)
inlet velocity profile is attached in case folder as blood flow rate (cm3/s). (file name : lumen_inlet_flow)
outlet proximal resistance - 1.5e03 dyne s/cm3
capacitance - 1.5e-05 cm3/dyne
distal resistance - 8e03 dyne s/cm3
proximal and distal pressure = 0 fixed.
I am not getting the pressure and displacement value at the interface (location- (0.5*length of pipe, 0, inner radius)) as given in the paper. The case folder and result file are attached here. ( using last cycle for calculating the mean pressure and traction for solid part). Please have a look at this problem !!
Pressure and displacement are compared with reference paper in Kpa and mm, respectively.
