Hello! I have the same issue. After solving the directory problem with new Kali, I can't find any Wifi.

Are you certain your interface is still Wlanx?

Check ifconfig or airmon-ng to verify the wifi interface is not labeled different.

you maybe need to start monitoring mode manually , "sudo airmon-ng start "
