Vite v7 support?

Hi,
Since Vite v7 was released in June 2025, I was wondering if there's a plan to upgrade from v6, or perhaps add optional support for v7.
Does anyone know if there's a large body of work involved or any v6-specific logic we rely on? Hopefully, it's a simple version bump.
