Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'success' of undefined

I cloned the project, opened it in Sencha Architect 2.1 and deployed it to Apache running on my Mac under /Library/WebDocuments/sencha-architect/ExtFeedViewer. I then opened it with with Chrome for Mac version 21.0.1180.79. The app displays a Loading spinner which never completes. Opening the JS console reveals the error.

I find it strange that the app is using ext-4.0.7-commercial vs. the latest. Also this app works on the main Sencha website:

But this one is using the latest Ext JS version.
