Using CardKB with SenseCap Indicator Meshtastic

Hello all, i think i might know the answer to this but is it possible to use the cardkb which is the iic type keyboard with the Indicator? I looked it up and it appears that the pin out shows gpio 20 and 21 but i have a feeling this isnt corresponding to meshtastic?
