Features we want up and running for TENSS 2017. A thought I had after TENSS 2016 is that everything the OO version does it should do well. We don't necessarily need more features but we do want the OO version to be have in an intuitive way and be robust. Based on experience of TENSS 2016, I feel the GUI should be extended such that it is able to set all properties of the scanner object. The students are unlikely to be modifying the GUI.

Since then, I am leaning toward teaching more ScanImage so it might be best to add dabs.ni.daqmx versions of some of the more simple functions and not spend time GUI tweaking.
