This repo contains all the master XML that controls the riverscapes warehouse
All documentation for how to use this should be at https://riverscapes.net/Tools/Technical_Reference/Documentation_Standards/Riverscapes_Projects/Project/projectxml.html
/Program.xsd
this is the main file that controls how all the programs are built. Be Very careful about changing it.
This is where the 'program.xml' files for each program live. Follow the pattern to create new programs.
This is where the project XSD lives. The XSD controls the rules for each project XML. It is separated from the programs because programs may share project definintions
These urls are stored in the AWS System manager store for easy lookup by processes like lambda. In the Riverscapes warehouse repo there is a shell script to update this and a .programs.json
file that is .gitignore
'd
AWS Systems Manager --> Parameter Store
You might also need to rebuild and redeploy any lambda works. Look for PROGRAMS_DIR_JSON
A Note about Project XSDs
The filename for Project XSDs must match the id in the program xml so that the validtor script can find it
Here's an examples:
<!-- Programs/BRAT/Program.xml -->
<Products>
<Product id="NationalDatasets" name="National Datasets" folder="nationaldatasets" url="" />
<Product id="BRAT" name="BRAT Models (HUC8)" folder="BRAT" url="" />
<Product id="VBET" name="Valley Bottom Extraction Tool (VBET)" folder="VBET" url="" />
<Product id="RSContext" name="Riverscapes Context (HUC8)" folder="RSContext" url="" />
</Products>
And now in the folder Projects/XSD/V1/
