Hullo, I'm Rhythmic 👋

Software Developer | Accessibility Focused | Disabled Nerd

I’m a remote software developer with 4+ years of experience in Java and open-source contributions, and over 10 years of experience in online community management.
My work is focused around customization, accessibility, and community-driven development. I also enjoy writing guides and tutorials to make technical concepts easier for others to understand.

Stuff I do

    • I contribute to a Paper fork used on over 16,000 servers worldwide - adding increased customization and features.
  • Simplexity Development (Founder & Lead):
    • Managing an organization with over 90 repositories and over 40 published projects on Modrinth.
  • Community Management:
    • Currently volunteering as a Community Manager for a discord server with over 8,000 members
    • I have participated in many community management/moderation roles over the course of the last 10 years, helping servers and online communities to remain safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Some of the projects I'm proud of

  • High Contrast Extended
    • Accessibility-focused resource pack extending Minecraft’s high-contrast visuals across the entire game.
  • VillagerInfo
    • Plugin providing vital villager data normally hidden behind admin commands, improving accessibility for players.
  • Scythe
    • Plugin for automatic replanting and simplified harvesting, reducing grind and improving gameplay.
  • Entity Icons
    • A complete icon set of all Minecraft mobs, free for use in mods, plugins, and datapacks.
  • Custom Model Data Guide
    • A popular resource for learning how to use Custom Model Data in Minecraft - Over 50 stars on GitHub.
  • PurpurPacks
    • 40+ datapacks fitting Purpur’s theme.
