Linux is starting to look like the future

As the title says, it's starting to look like windows is gonna fall behind eventually, I've never touched Linux, but right now, the only thing keeping me from trying it is the fact that FanControl doesn't support it. I did look for conversations on this, and I know they've happened, but that was 3 years ago. I'm not exactly asking it, but Linux support would certainly be incredibly nice in my opinion, and I'm curious what other people's opinion on this is, though I'm sure it wont be extremely in favor of Linux, since if I used an OS that wasn't compatible with this software, I wouldn't be looking at the discussions for this software xd

If this future where Windows falls behind Linux happens one day, I might consider putting the hours. In the meantime, I have no spare time for such an endeavor.

tl;dr; LACT and CoreControl seem to be the hot stuff.
I use Linux mainly but not for my gaming rig yet, two software suites that are hard to run in Linux, but will make an attempt to dual boot once Ubuntu 26.04 LTS is out, I don't have time to tinker much either and need something that just works, so I won't go Arch Linux or any such game for teenagers with plenty time.
